The 2011 superhero flick was widely panned by critics and has become the subject of much criticism over the years, largely by Reynolds himself. Despite the film’s bad rep, it’s gaining a following on streaming services and a new generation of superhero fans are watching the DC Comics movie for the first time. Bon Homme County Sheriff Mark Maggs confirmed the basic details of the case with Newsweek, and an affidavit from a responding deputy shows that Michael Koranda, 46, of Tabor, South Dakota, was arrested on January 5 for possession of a controlled substance. The affidavit shows that the Bon Homme County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls on January 4 about a possible poisoning at the Tabor Senior Center. The responding deputy investigated the sick patients and determined they were under the influence of THC....

News of the court order came as the Colombian star’s separate criminal lawsuit over a €14.5 million (around $16.8 million) tax dispute in Spain continues. While it has not been specified how much money Shakira stands to be reimbursed, or when the ruling was made, representatives for the star informed Newsweek that she will be paid back for “a series of surcharges that the Tax Agency incorrectly collected.” “In view of the disagreement with the collection, Shakira’s defense filed a supplementary declaration that has been resolved by the courts, ruling in her favor and requiring the Tax Agency to return the amounts that she was forced to pay unfairly,” read a statement shared with Newsweek....

Bengaluru’s Khalin Joshi finished runner-up at 18-under-262 after a final round of 65 but also moved up to second place in the Rolex Ranking. The 38-year-old Shamim Khan (67-66-66-62), lying overnight tied seventh and two off the lead, jumped into contention on Saturday with two early birdies on the second and third where he sank putts from 15 to 30 feet. Abomination is typically a villain to Bruce Banner’s Hulk and made his Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut in Marvel Studios’ 2008 Incredible Hulk film. Abomination, or Emil Blonsky, was a soldier tasked to take down the Hulk and after suffering major injuries during his battle, he resorted to the worst means possible in order to achieve a similar amount of power. After experimenting, he turned into a monster who was bigger, stronger, and faster than the Hulk with the ability to communicate/use his conscious mind....

The video clip showcases the fight scene between siblings Shang-Chi and Xialing, portrayed by Meng’er Zhang, in the very popular Marvel Studios film. When posting the video on Twitter, Liu made a Snyder Cut joke and wrote, “I’m doing it. I’m releasing the Simu Cut.” The video, obviously edited, got a good laugh from Liu’s Twitter followers, with many asking for the actor’s version of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to be released as soon as possible....
