Sharpe didn’t hold back then on Monday, after he was spoofed by Jay Pharaoh on the NBC season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend.
Pharaoh teamed with Kenan Thompson, who played Sharpe’s former Ravens’ teammate, Ray Lewis, during a cold-open parody of NFL analysts’ reaction to the league’s recent off-field troubles on a sendup of CNN’s ‘State of the Union." Pharaoh had previously appeared as Sharpe on the ‘Weekend Update’ segment on another episode.
According to Sharpe, Pharoah still isn’t funny when playing Sharpe.
